The Request: 1st Annual ST. Maarten Fin-Lit Conference
Global Money Week is an annual, worldwide initiative dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of financial literacy for young people. Organized by the OECD’s International Network on Financial Education (INFE), the week brings together governments, financial institutions, and educational organizations to promote financial education through events, workshops, and activities. It aims to empower the next generation with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed financial decisions.
SOWND Financial, St. Maarten's leading financial literacy organization, recognized the significance of this global initiative and partnered with Raedeiant Events to plan a memorable conference for the local community. As experts in event coordination, Raedeiant Events was tasked with organizing a comprehensive, high-impact conference that would not only raise awareness about financial literacy but also engage participants in meaningful ways.

On March 23rd, 2024, Raedeiant Events was proud to coordinate a successful Global Money Week conference that exceeded expectations and made a lasting impact on St. Maarten’s community. Our team played a pivotal role in promoting the event, ensuring a high level of engagement leading up to the conference. We designed and created a visually compelling social media flyer and content that was strategically shared across various platforms. The result? Strong social media traction, with a significant increase in awareness and attendance from across St. Maarten.
Raedeiant Events also facilitated the attendance of key dignitaries, including the Minister of Finance of St. Maarten, who was invited to address the attendees and highlight the importance of financial literacy within the country. This added prestige to the event and reinforced its significance on a local government level.
The conference itself featured four expert speakers, each presenting on a unique and relevant financial topic. Topics ranged from the History of Finance in St. Maarten to Changing Your Mindset Towards Money and even an intriguing session on Finance Astrology, offering a diverse and enriching experience for attendees.
In addition to the informative sessions, Raedeiant Events carefully orchestrated the venue to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere. We provided snacks and refreshments, ensuring guests felt comfortable and engaged throughout the day. The seamless execution of logistics, combined with a carefully curated program, resulted in a highly successful and educational event that not only raised awareness about financial literacy but also sparked meaningful discussions in the community.
